Descriptive Geometry is a set of geometric techniques that makes it possible to represent three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface and makes it possible to solve spatial problems in two dimensions so that the reversibility of the process is guaranteed.

Therefore, it is a course of the general component of professional technical training in all modalities of architecture.

Descriptive geometry explains how space problems are solved graphically, applying the same basic non-fundamental principles used in orthogonal drawings for the graphic description of solids in a simple three-view drawing.

Through the graphic communication course, students of the Professional Techniques programs in their different specialties: Construction, Expression and Urbanism, will acquire skills to express their designs and drawings, using the techniques of freehand, watercolor, line drawing and geometry.
